Accounting "from the document" and standard transactions
The primary method of reflecting business transactions in accounting is the entry of configuration documents corresponding to primary accounting documents. Direct entry of individual transactions is also permitted. With group entry of transactions, you can use standard operations—a simple automation tool that the user can quickly and easily set up.
Accounting for Multiple Organizations
With "BAS Accounting CORP," you can maintain accounting and tax records for the business activities of multiple organizations. Accounting for each organization can be maintained in a separate database. At the same time, "BAS Accounting CORP" provides the ability to maintain accounting and tax records for multiple organizations in a common database (individual entrepreneurs can act as separate organizations). This is convenient if their business activities are closely interrelated: you can use common lists of goods, counterparties (business partners), employees, warehouses (storage locations), etc., while generating mandatory reporting separately.
Accounting for Inventory
Accounting for goods, materials, and finished goods is implemented in accordance with P (S) BU 9 "Inventories" and guidelines for its application. The following inventory valuation methods are supported upon disposal:
- Average cost
- At cost of the first inventory acquired (FIFO method)
- At selling price using an average markup percentage (for retail)
To support FIFO valuation methods, batch accounting is maintained in inventory accounts. Different valuation methods can be applied independently for each organization.
Warehouse Accounting
Warehouses can be managed using either quantity or quantity-and-amount accounting. In the first case, the valuation of goods and materials for accounting purposes does not depend on the warehouse from which they were received. Inventory accounting can be disabled if it is not needed.
Inventory data is recorded in "BAS Accounting CORP" and is automatically reconciled with accounting data. Based on inventory, surpluses are identified and shortages are written off.
A financially responsible person can be assigned to each inventory item. However, only one responsible person can be assigned to a single inventory item; the history of responsible person assignments is maintained. Inventory can be performed both by inventory item and by financially responsible person.
Accounting for Trade Operations
Accounting for the receipt and sale of goods and services is automated. When goods are sold, invoices are issued, and delivery notes and tax invoices are generated. All wholesale trade transactions are accounted for in contracts with customers and suppliers.
For retail, both operational accounting of retail sales and accounting of sales based on inventory results are supported. Retail goods can be accounted for at purchase or selling prices. Excise tax is calculated on the sale of excisable goods by retailers.
The recording of returns of goods from buyers and suppliers is automated.
"BAS Accounting CORP" supports the use of several price types, such as "wholesale," "small wholesale," "retail," "purchase," etc. This simplifies the recording of receipt and sales transactions.
Accounting for Commission Trade
Accounting for commission trade is automated for both goods taken on commission (from the principal) and transferred for further sale (to the commission agent). The recording of transactions involving the transfer of goods on subcontract is supported. When generating a report to the principal or registering a commission agent report, you can immediately calculate and reflect the commission deduction.
Container Operations
Returnable container operations have been automated. The taxation requirements for such transactions and settlements with suppliers and customers have been taken into account.
Accounting for Banking and Cash Transactions
Cash and non-cash cash flow and foreign exchange transactions have been implemented. Input and printing of payment orders, cash receipts, and cash disbursement slips are supported. Automated transactions for settlements with suppliers, customers, and accountable persons, cash deposits to a current account and cash receipts by check, purchase and sale of foreign currency, salary payments (transfers), and the transfer of taxes and contributions from salaries are implemented. When recording transactions, payment amounts are automatically split into advances and payments. A standard cash book is generated based on cash documents.
Accounting for Settlements with Counterparties
Settlements with suppliers and customers can be maintained in hryvnias or foreign currencies. Exchange rate differences for each transaction are calculated automatically. Settlements with counterparties can be maintained under the contract as a whole or by specifying specific settlement documents. Accounting for fixed assets, intangible, and low-value assets is determined separately for each contract.
Accounting for fixed assets, intangible, and low-value assets
Accounting for fixed assets, intangible, and low-value assets is conducted in accordance with Accounting Standard 7 "Fixed Assets," Accounting Standard 8 "Intangible Assets," and Accounting Standard 9 "Inventories."
For fixed assets and intangible assets, the following key operations are automated: receipt, acceptance for accounting, depreciation accrual, modernization, transfer, write-off, inventory, and revaluation (for fixed assets). Accrued depreciation amounts for the month can be distributed among multiple accounts or analytical accounting objects. For fixed assets used seasonally, depreciation accrual schedules can be used.
For low-value assets, the operations of transfer into operation and decommissioning from operation are automated.
Accounting for Primary and Auxiliary Production
Automated cost calculation for products and services manufactured by primary and auxiliary production, and accounting for the processing of customer-supplied raw materials. During the month, finished goods are recorded at planned cost. At the end of the month, the actual cost of manufactured goods and services is calculated.
Accounting for Semi-finished Products
For complex technological processes with intermediate stages producing semi-finished products, warehouse accounting of semi-finished products and automatic cost calculation are supported.
Accounting for Indirect Costs
For overhead production costs, the ability to allocate them according to normal capacity indicators is implemented, in accordance with P (S) BU 16 "Expenses".
When writing off indirect costs, various methods of distribution by product (service) nomenclature groups can be used. The following allocation bases are possible for indirect costs:
- output volume
- planned cost
- salaries

- direct costs
- individual direct cost items.
